Carla serves as the Principal Attorney and Owner of Bryson Legal Services, PLLC. She uses her skills as a former public educator (15+ years) and now legal advocate, to be the results-driven promoter for those she represents. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and South Carolina Bar.

Carla earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She immediately became a public servant as an educator for school systems in both North and South Carolina. Being no stranger to law, her father was a respected member of law enforcement serving 25+ years as a police officer and deputy sheriff in Gaston County, NC. With the burning desire to achieve her dreams, as a mother to two (2) sons who were attending the University of South Carolina, Carla made the decision to leave education and pursue her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate.

As a legal professional, Carla has served in the areas of education law, labor and employment law, family law, consumer law, tenants’ rights, estate planning, real estate law, and Paralegal Studies as an adjunct professor. The experiences gained working at other law offices offered Carla the humbling opportunity to start her own practice. Through Bryson Legal Services, PLLC, she provides a more family friendly focused environment along with enriched experiences and enhanced value.

It should come as no surprise that Carla is a major supporter of education. Whether formal schooling, continuous learning, or raw hands-on experience, Carla is a life-time student always seeking to expand her knowledge. Her greatest return to her community comes through scholarship, mentorship, and the opportunity to provide others with a better quality of life.
